Schedule

July - Challenge Ingredient: Rye
Kick off the new season with your best rye beer.

August - Saison
Get funky with category 16C.

September - Session Beer
In stark contrast to our normal meetings, it's time for session beers. How low can you go?

October - "The Pounder"
R.I.P. everyone's palate. Use a whole pound of hops per 5 gallons - does not have to be all the same hop.

November - New 2014 BJCP Guideline Styles
With the new 2014 revision of the BJCP Style Guidelines, we'll attempt to tackle one of the new styles added. The accepted styles will be: English Golden Ale, Australian Sparkling Ale, American Strong Ale, Wheatwine, Trappist Single, and Historical Beer. Study up and get brewing!

December - Wrong Color Beers
Dark Saison? Daring. Pale Stout? Tricky. Brown Witbier? Lunacy. Black IPA? Too easy. Bring your intentionally oddly colored beers to be tasted, and maybe you'll inspire a whole new style!

January - Challenge Ingredient: Breakfast Cereal
It's beer for breakfast as we taste beers brewed with breakfast cereal (oatmeal is cheating). Mash it, boil it, "dry cereal" it - it doesn't matter. Heck, you can even pour the resulting concoction over the cereal and serve it with a spoon!

February - Bock
Escape the winter doldrums with a hearty lager. Helles Bock, Dunkles Bock, Doppelbock, and Eisbock are all on the docket for this month.

March - Cider
Cider, Cyser, Perry and everything in between. Bring your appley concoctions from categories 27 and 28.

April - Brown English Beer
Got a killer English Brown Ale? How about a tasty Brown Porter? Or maybe you like easing back with a Dark Mild. We'll taste them all at this month's meeting.

May - Year Old Beer
It all comes down to beer you brewed over a year ago. Bring your aged libations, and maybe you'll be crowned our winner for 2014-15!
